Floating Assistant Property Manager

Description:

Private Self-Storage facility in Pennsylvania area, has an immediate opening for a Floating Assistant Property Manager. We are looking for an individual to join our team with customer service, retail, restaurant, sales, marketing, or property management experience—self-storage is a plus! This role will primarily serve the Sharon Hill and Trevose locations.  A valid driver's license and a car is required, as this person will be traveling between locations. 

The Floating Assistant Property Manager will be part of a fast-growing team with an inclusive company culture and career development opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate with new and current customers to assist with their self-storage needs and rental process. 

This hourly, full-time position provides weekday flexibility with partial weekends required. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advocating for the company by showcasing our storage units, products, and promotions. 
  • Enhancing our community relations through local marketing outreach by engaging and utilizing our referral program and incentives. 
  • Converting telephone, online, and walk-in inquiries into storage rentals.
  • Renting storage units, parking space, and selling store merchandise.
  • Perform collection calls to tenants. 
  • Address tenant inquiries or concerns related to their rent payments professionally and empathetically. 
  • Assist in the process of setting up storage auctions. 
  • Daily property walks to check locks, maintain and clean building, sweep the property, clean units, ensure supplies are appropriately stocked, and perform other maintenance tasks. 
  • Promote our referral program to local businesses as part of our local marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • Solid communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service to new and existing customers.
  • Retail Experience (Self-Storage a plus)
  • Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation  
  • Ability to lift up to 40lb, walk, and stand for long periods.
